my visit on 9 Feb 2011
Many thanks for all the excellent hospitality I received when I visited your club last wednesday. You all made me feel most welcome and I enjoyed the discussion even if it was on the contentious issue of membership. Not surprisingly your club seems to have the same problems as we have, such as age profile and Rotary's image. Scattered nature of your membership was interesting as we draw mostly from two linked commuter villages (around 15,000 total population):that you have so few members in Aviemore and Boat of Garten villages was a little surprising.
If any of your members happen to be in the Glasgow/Hamilton/Bothwell area please visit us. We meet on Tuesdays at 7 for 7.30 at Bothwell Castle Golf Club...and let me know if you'd like a game there beforehand! Please pass my regards to President John and expect me to drop in again, complete with badge, jacket and tie!!! Best wishes, Ian McKellar, Bothwell and Uddingston Rotary Club.

Visit 25th March 2010
Many thanks for your hospitality last Wednesday.
The Lairg Ghru this year clashes with a Concert Night that Lanark Rotary are involved in. Will try another year.
Good luck with your projects.
Any members in the lanark area on Wednesday nights at 6pm come along to the Crown Tavern. You will be made very welcome.
